Volunteer Your Services

We are recruiting for three part-time volunteer positions:

Office Manager

• Provides administrative support services; assist in developing policies and procedures; process hire paperwork for new employees and volunteers; assist in researching services to meet client’s needs for referral purposes; assist in developing/organizing scholarship search and resource and referral materials and database as directed by the executive director.

 Volunteer Manager

• Manages  volunteer management program to include developing policies and procedures and recruiting volunteers.

 Outreach Coordinator

• Work on developing partners and collaborative relationships;  promote SOH services within the communities and other places; coordinate and manage events and activities.

 Financial Donations

As a start up organization, we are challenged in creatively coming up with a diversified funding base.  Currently, the organization operates with funds contributed by the founders, board member dues, fundraising activities and donations from the general public.  Your financial contribution is an investment towards services that will improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals and families. 

We are initiating fundraising activities towards the purchase of a food truck (fundraising equipment), the purchase of a building to provide services and general operation and program cost.
