President of the Board – Millard Dubose accepted his call into the ministry over 15 years ago and preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ. Millard is retired from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department after completing nearly 20 years of service in Corrections & Law Enforcement. He received various training and certification in dealing with diverse and unique populations and is skilled in handling people issues. Millard has an interest in working with troubled youth and gained experience working with youth through his work with Seminole County Sheriff’’s/Juvenile Justice System.
Vice-President – Vacant
Founder – Executive Director – Francina Dubose also serves in the ministry and has a desire to help people reach their fullest God-given potential. Francina was employed with the University of Central Florida (UCF) for 12 years where she managed administrative activities, coordinated training programs, managed the Human Resources unit and established and managed a Grant Writing unit in the department. In 2006, Francina earned her Master of Nonprofit Management degree from UCF. In 2008, Francina took a leap of faith and left UCF to start her own business as an independent grant writer and have written grants for various nonprofit organizations throughout Central Florida, totaling $843,000 in grant awards from foundations and local and state government.
Treasurer - Vacant
Secretary – Linda Cowels is employed at Seminole State College of Florida and has a two-year degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently working on completing her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Business Management. Linda has over 30 years of experience as an Executive Assistant and is presently the Executive Assistant and Office Manager to the President of Seminole State College. She is the CEO and founder of Just Right Administrative Service and has operated this business since 1997.
Board of Director – Vanetta Felix-Greer - has a Master’s Degree in Mathematics. She is a Mathematics instructor at Seminole State College of Florida and a strong advocate of Seeds of Hope. Vanetta devotes her time to helping students and people in general. She devotes her time to ministering and giving at her church and in the Seminole County community. Vanetta has led various committees to include diversity initiatives and other educational services at the Seminole State College of Florida.
